Find-A-Foster™ is a transfer program strictly for local Colorado and Southern Wyoming animal shelters
We know the animal overpopulation crisis is real. We know you feel that weight every single day.
Which is why we created our Find-A-Foster™ program. This solution is specifically designed to help you and other local animal shelters in times of limited resources to help lighten your load, one animal at a time.
We search for foster or adoptive placement for the animal in our network. We also offer behavior and training support to dogs once we transfer them into our organization.
What our FAF program provides Colorado shelters:
- Foster or adoptive placement for animals who may be difficult to place due to their level of stress in the shelter environment
- Animal transportation
- Training and behavior support with our certified trainer once in our care
How it works:
- You fill out our FAF application for the animal in need
- We post the animal on all of our adoption sites and market them to our foster network to find the best fit
- A meet and greet is arranged at the shelter with our interested party
- We transport the animal home and officially transfer them into our organization
- We provide them with the training and behavior support they need in their new spot
